Everyone enjoy using Facebook. It is so fun to read about your school friends and the ones who live in other countries, also it is good to post something exciting about yourself and having likes and comments on it. Recently, Facebook has added a feature of using “reactions”, where you can react to a picture or a post. But these reactions are not liked by the police, and they are warning the Facebook users from using any of these reactions. Read on to know the reason.
Those reactions are so much fun, then why the police don’t like it?
Highlighting the hidden intention of Facebook, the police said that these reactions are being used to evaluate the effectiveness of the ads appearing on your profile.
But why only six reactions? There could be many!
Well, this is because the lesser the number of options in an algorithm, the easier it is to evaluate the results. If there were more than 6 reactions, the algorithm that is running in the background would not have efficiently calculated the results.
Why do we need to worry if they are taking information for their ads?
The police believe that with the help of these reactions, Facebook is invading their users’ privacy. They will determine your mood by noticing how you reacted at a certain thing, and will accordingly display the type of ad that you would want to see at that moment. It means that Facebook is making a good use of their users’ privacy.
