Students Go Braless In Protest After One Student Was Asked To Cover Herself Up

Jun 23, 2016

The debate over the “appropriate dress code” for a female student in school has been a hot topic since a very long time. The absurdity of it is that no one talks about what the other gender should wear. Boys are allowed to wear just about anything they like but girls? Oh no! They should think what they put on and inside of it.
In the turn of events, a teenager named Kaitlyn Juvik has to face some serious backlash because of her choice of apparel to school.

Kaitlyn never expected that she will be called to the vice principal's office but she was. Apparently, a male teacher in her school complained that he was feeling very “uncomfortable” as she didn’t wear a bra. All she was using was nipples sticker which is what she normally wears.

Moreover, she hadn’t worn a bra in more than a year.

Kaitlyn was wearing this when she was called down to the vice principal office.

After leaving the office, she was so upset that she immediately posted her picture on Facebook, asking everyone if there was something wrong in the shirt she was wearing to school as she was called out.

According to Principal Steve Thennis, he isn’t concerned about someone wearing their undergarments but everyone should be dressed in the right manner.

In case, it is something they do not agree with, they are asked to cover up. Apparently, Kaitlyn wasn’t the only one who was asked to that and felt outraged after that.

One of Kaitlyn’s friend, Brooke Lanier, has created a Facebook page named “No Bra, No Problem” for support.

Brooke wants that there should be gender equality when it comes to choosing what to wear and there should equal treatment of breasts of all the genders.
